Mr Vega - The King of Pop is Dead
too soon?!?

Black Mountain - Stormy High
It’s nice that this kind of music is making a bit of a comeback. It’s classy, Canadian and yet raw rock n’ roll.

Mastodon - Oblivion
This is where post-metal, indie/hipster metal like Isis, and thrash has finally culminated, and I’m so happy that I was there to ride the wave. Prog is back baby, Zepp style.
I could talk about this new album (Crack the Skye) all day, but I won’t. Promise me to listen to this, though. It’s a really rewarding song.

Paul Oakenfold - Faster Kill Pussycat (Ft. Brittany Murphy)
Yusuf Islam ain’t got nothing on this. It’s off of Paul Oakenfold’s 2006 album A Lively Mind, and features vocals by actress Brittany Murphy.

Cat Stevens - Back to the Good Old Times
Boom! Roasted.

Neutral Theory - The Old Man
Now I don’t happen to know anything about Neutral Theory, other than it seems to be a side project of someone’s. Who that someone is, I couldn’t tell you. I only came across the song through thesixtyone, and haven’t come across it elsewhere. I do know this though: it is a really great song. Beautiful and moving, it’ll pick you up if you’re feeling at all down. I guarantee it.
